RFIDTagManager for Inventory and Shipping

RFIDTagManager for Inventory and Shipping enables you to collaborate with trading partners to increase visibility into the supply chain as shipments move internally, through third party logistics providers or retailers.   RFIDTagManager for Inventory and Shipping follows the same GS1 sanctioned standards employed by retailers and DoD that allows the logistical shipping units (pallet, case, or even items) to be identified and validated as they pass through a network of RFID readers and instant electronic confirmation of successfully completed business processes.

After receiving an order RFIDTagManager for Inventory and Shipping generates and assigns unique ID’s that are encoded on EPC compliant shipping labels that are applied to each of the case and pallets.  The shipment is validated with a fixed or handheld reader as it leaves the facility which immediately triggers an ASN report to be generated and sent electronically to the receiving facility.  Collaborating further a confirmation report from the receiving location will be sent back recording the receipt of the cases and pallets which can be updated into inventory.

RFIDTagManager for Inventory and Shipping runs out of the box in a standalone mode or through consulting services can be integrated with backend systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards and others.

Validating Outbound Logistics

After the order has been received and the shipment tagged, using an RFID reader to read the tag will ensure that each RFID tag is valid before it leaves the tagging facility.

After RFID labels have been printed and applied to boxes they may be damaged in the application and handling process. RFIDTagManager Validation Screen gives users an easy tool to validate tags with a reader.

The unique EPCs of all labels that were just produced from the purchase order will automatically populate the columns of the ready to be validated.

After passing a RFID reader the tags are read and the EPCs are validated with a date and time stamp, so know you know exactly what has left your facility at what time.

An ASN of the EPC and tag read data is generated and sent to the trading partner via AS2, email, or a flat file.

Now the trading partner knows exactly which products are expected to arrive with this shipment.

After the trading partner has received the shipment they sent acknowledgement of receipt back to the shipping location.

RFIDTagManager for Shipping and Inventory imports the tag read data from confirmation notice and the inventory is updated.

So now both the shipper and receiver know the correct transaction was completed and the reconciliation process can be started.
