DocManager facilitates document flow between trading partners by enabling the automation of business processes during the exchange of business data electronically and securely from one point to another point. DocManager can use any communication protocol such as AS2, FTP, and SMTP to send and receive business documents and routes it to or from users systems according to configured processes. DocManager maintains a complete archive of all documents sent and received and translates documents to human readable version of EDI dodcuments and routes .
SETUP- Configure Trading Partners
DocManager enables you to easily enter and manage all the Trading Partner identifying information that is needed to create standardized business documents. DocManager follows the global standards set for electronic business messaging- EANCOM, UN/EDIFACT, EDI, XML -so it will ask you for all a company’s identifying qualifiers that comprise data elements for each trading partner.
SETUP- Configure Transports
DocManager allows users you to configure Transports - the method or location for outgoing documents to be sent to Trading Partners from DocManager This could be a Outbox(s) that DocManager will push the documents to.
SETUP- Configure Listeners
DocManager allows you to configure Listeners - the method or location for incoming documents from Trading Partners to be received into DocManager This could be an Inbox(s) that DocManager will pull the documents from.
SETUP- Configure Processes
DocManager allows you to configure and automate Processes - a list of steps that need to occur with a specific document. DocManager will take the document, figure out what it is, and what to do next. Answers that question what do you do with the document? What form to translate it you do? Where do you put it? This could be drop into a folder the ERP pulls from, archive it, translate to email, and or send to an email account.
RUN- Exchange Documents and Perform Configured Processes
DocManager automatically performs the configured processes from the configured listeners and transports with incoming and outgoing documents to configured trading partners. Monitor through reports.
RUN- DocManager Viewer
DocManager Viewer enables you to see a style sheet of each document sent or received from the system. The human readable versions of the machine to machine documents maybe sent by email or saved depending on the processes configured.
