People Tracking

epcSolutions’s TetraGate combines GEN2 RFID technology, biometric facial recognition and IP cameras to add time and distance to Access Control.   Access Control systems with Tetragate can recognize people approaching from 60 feet away in a fraction of a second using TetraGate, reading up to 60,000 faces a second.

Tetragate physical access control system is a coordinated IP network of UHF Gen 2 RFID cards, IP cameras, IP readers/antennas, IP door controller boards, IP visual indicators, audible indicators, specialized databases, server and exceptions based software designed to monitor and control traffic of human and or high valued assets through access points from anywhere in the world through a secure IP network.

An employee or contractor is enrolled and issued an ID badge that contains no personal information. All information is stored in a secure database as this is where exceptions are generated.

With the card/ID badge displayed slightly away from the body, the subject proceeds without having to slow down, stop, or place it near a reader allowing the flow of traffic to continue. Access is securely and accurately grant to allowed areas. (Examples would be a school/campus buildings or events, office, enterprises secure/classified documents rooms, Military weapons depot, etc.) When a person leaves employment of an organization, all physical and logical access can be removed immediately and the card/ID badge if not returned can be read without granting access and generation of an exception can be sent to security.

Utilizing TetraGate will eliminate tailgating thorough real-time RFID enabled verification, as well as providing real-time audit and traceability yielding improved access control visibility and ultimately, increasing the security of products during distribution.  Tetragate allows companies to not only secure their entrance and exit ways, but will also gives them the opportunity to track assets, match those assets to the correct individual and based on business rules, either allow the person to enter or exit building, or stop them all together.
