RFIDTagManager for Receving and Supply Chain Management

RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management enables you to collaborate with trading partners to increase visibility into the supply chain as shipments move internally, through third party logistics providers or retailers.   RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management follows the same GS1 sanctioned standards employed by retailers and DoD that allows shipments logistical units (pallet, case, or even items) to be identified and validated as they pass through a network of RFID readers and instant electronic confirmation of successfully completed business processes.

When a trading partner ships you an order RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management receives an Advanced Shipment Notice report which contains the unique ID’s of each of the cases and pallets that have been encoded into EPC compliant RFID labels attached to them. As the shipment arrives and is read by RFID readers the cases and pallets are validated against the ASN. Collaborating further a confirmation report from the receiving location will be sent to the shipper recording the receipt of the cases and pallets.

RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management runs out of the box in a standalone mode or through consulting services can be integrated with backend systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards and others.

Validating Inbound Logistics
When a trading partner sends an order with RFID tagged products the shipment is validated with a fixed or handheld reader as it leaves the facility which immediately triggers an ASN report to be generated and sent electronically to the receiving facility.

The ASN is received by the receiving facility.

RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management imports the data from the ASN and displays the unique ID’s for the cases and pallets and the time and date the shipment left the shipping facility.

After passing a RFID reader the tags are read and the EPCs are validated with a date and time stamp.

The tag reads are validated against the order from the ASN and RFIDTagManager for Receiving and Supply Chain Management automatically sends an acknowledgement of receipt back to the shipper.

Now the shipper and receiver both know the correct transaction was completed and the reconciliation process can be started.
